What is CardScan?
CardScan is a Business Card Scanner solution that reads details off Business Cards and puts the information into a database on your PC or
Laptop. It's primary function is to save you time because you won't ever need to manually type a customers details into your computer again. All you
do is feed a Business Card into the CardScan scanner and while it scans the card, a powerful software engine is at work, separating the persons name
from the company name, from the phone number, from the fax number, from the email address, and so on.
What is CardScan Executive?
CardScan Executive is the biggest seller in the CardScan range. It has the top-of-the-line CardScan scanner hardware - it scans in colour and monochrome
and takes around 3 seconds per card.
The software you get with CardScan Executive is virtually the same as the other CardScan models, enabling you to quickly and efficiently convert
data from business cards into electronic format, then automatically synchronise this data with Outlook and PDA's. You can even export data to many
different formats, including CSV, VCF, TXT etc.
The CardScan software automatically launches on your computer, and asks you to verify the data. Once you confirm that the details are in the
right place, you can synchronise the contact details with applications such as Outlook, ACT!, Goldmine... or you can update the contacts data on your
PDA or smartphone. You can even print address labels from the CardScan software or print directly onto envelopes.
